DATA ENTRY CLERK
The Agriculture Department's Data Entry Clerk is responsible for organizing and inputting data, both digitally and manually. This role requires proficiency in research, data collection, inventory management, and Microsoft Office including Pivot Tables and data visualization.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Associate’s degree in Business Science
· Minimum (3) three years’ experience in position or related field
· At least intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, would be an advantage
Skills and Competencies:
· Computer literate with an adequate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
· Provide support with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to data entry, report generation, inventory management, and any other tasks as needed.
· Excellent time management skills; Demonstrate efficiency and an innovative drive in your work
· Bilingual capabilities, English and Spanish would be an asset
· Able to work flexible hours upon request (Holidays included)
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Collect and input data into databases to ensure the accuracy of valuable company information. This is done to comply with deadlines and provide timely reporting.
· Review data for errors or redundancies, make corrections, and check outputs
· Conduct research to gather the information required for completing documents while requiring little supervision
· Develop streamlined systems and procedures for effectively gathering information, and guide team members on how to utilize them
· Create reports, save results in the database, and execute backups
· Ensure that the data entry software and equipment are user-friendly, and take charge of any technical issues that arise
